If you want real low maintenance, that offers maximum colour, biodiversity and general impact… sow a wildflower meadow!

I often hear people request artificial grass, which I detest (it’s fake, lifeless, can’t be recycled and for less money you can have real grass and a robot mower?!). These meadows are the antithesis to that - full of life, a kaleidoscope of colours on offer, self seeding and regenerating, best of all they only need cutting once a year! It’s these sorts of spaces that enrich nature and our interaction with it so why not give it a go and transform your front lawn, a full border or even an area within a lawn? If you get bored, you only have to mow it regularly to turn it back into a lawn!
